Breadcrumb pudding

 

10 minutes to prepare, 30 minutes to bake

  • Leftover bread - 200-250 gr
  • Butter - 50 gr
  • Sugar - 50 gr
  • Raisins - 100 gr (optional)
  • Cinnamon - 1 tbsp (optional)
  • Eggs - 5
  • Milk - 250 ml
  • Oven, preheated to 200 ⁰C
  • Food processor
  • Oven dish, greased

Tear your leftover bread into smaller pieces and grind to crumbs in a food processor. Add the butter to grind into the breadcrumbs until it is mixed in.

Pour the breadcrumbs into a bowl and mix with the sugar, raisins and cinnamon. In a separate bowl, batter the eggs and milk together.

Mix the wet and dry ingredients and pour into a greased oven dish. Bake in the upper middle of a preheated oven for 30 minutes at 200 ⁰C.

Cool, cut into squares and serve forth.
